Why did you frame them vertically?

CDS - Thanks!!! And yes, I got thier number ;-)........he he.

Mr. Photoguy - they definitely are!!!

Doc - I wanted to capture the dead branches :-)........kidding...........I think its a different POV from the classic horizontal orientation.......I actually kinda like it - a tad more unconventional.

I like it. The Background is important to this shot. I love the branches. Kind of a warm and cold feel all at the same time.

Great pic. I like the vertical framing. Only some Christmas lights in the tree branches would have made it better. :)

.........that would've been great...........yeah...........those dead branches are kinda dead........I was actually thinking orange leaves during fall time.........would probably give it a richer feel. NExt year!!!:D

Am I the only one who finds the branchs distracting? I dont know what to look at, the girls or the branchs.

.........I was trying to capture a stark contrast between dead/sharp/colorless and alive/soft/vibrant..........:p

OK!!! I decided to include the branch to give the photo a sense of "unconventionality".

..........will consider cropping if more people think so..........

if that was what you were trying to achive you did a great job doing it, but IMO I find it distracting.

Ro1 I wouldn't mind seeing it cropped. The branches do compete for my attention.
Or maybe soften them a bit.... not sure if that would work....

Technically a superb photo though.

Nice shot, but I don't think the branches add to it. They compete, not add to the pretty girls.

A different approach.............square crop..........sans branches :D

Better?? Yes! Now clone out that annoying white spot just over their heads & you've got a 100% improvement! ;)

Look at the girls, much more pleasing on the eyes ;)

And a great shot too, but I also prefer the crop :)

Why did you frame them vertically?
