nice pic.

just my personal opinion i would have edited out the flash relfections on the car. i would have probably used another flash as well as taken the picture from a little further away

Left hand side needs more lighting but the picture is good.

what do you think? I think that this is what a red car could look like:

Some shots of Jim's '68 AMX (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=393917)

Blown '37 Willys - A Beauty with a Beast! (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=82861)

'70 Mustang Fastback (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=112352)

'40 Ford Deluxe Coupe - "TAPDOUT" (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=47414)

How does yours compare with them?

I think it's a great shot. I think the lighting is just right and the colors really pop. You did a great job! Do you have anymore pics to share? Any mods under the hood?

they compare by those being day shots and his being a really late sunset shot...

i really like your photo but it doesnt look like you used more than one flash. if you did. move them around to get the entire car lit

it was overcast and probably an hour or 2 before sunset so the sun was getting fairly low. i was using 3 flashes. one in front, one at the corner, and one on the side. unfortunately it was after awhile of shooting and my flashes were low on batteries so recycle time was long and the one on the side wasnt going off that often:(

this was my third outing with external flash so im still learning. the second one i went out too late and it was too late to focus so that was basically a waste. o well

Good job on the 2nd shot you posted. You should try cloning out the flash spots, though.
