Hello all

I really want a CPL but can only afford maybe £30 to £40 and just cant bring myself to buy a cheapo one as everyone seems to think that they either don't work or add colour casts to images or whatever.

So, I want a good one but can't afford one unless someone has a used decent one they could let go for what I'm asking. Of course, if anyone knows of a decent quality new one for that price range that's just as good!

Thanks
K

I just grabbed a Tiffen CPL on Amazon for something like US$26...not sure how it will do but back in the olden days of no AF SLR's and just barely some automatice metering modes, Tiffen filters were not awful if I recall right:

I will use it tomorrow and see how it works...

I have used Kenko and find them to be pretty good. They are not Multi-Coated but still good. Price for a 58mm will be less than £30. The link is for a shop I use in the UK, ask for Peter. http://www.surreyphotographyshop.co.uk/index.php?cPath=137
