Sudden Impact (56k Warning - 300Kb)

Hey Everyone,

Been a while since i last posted, back home in Sydney for a few weeks and caught this beauty while out fishing with the old man...

A little bit of the USM & a +0.5 stop correction with RAW importer in PS CS.
I was thinking it would look better if i crop that little bit of movement on the left it would look better?

Nothing gives this scale & I can't tell how big the wave is, so my reactions is sort of... SO? Maybe if you got real low next time.

Thanks alot for your input... I agree, there is no scale, however, what i was trying to convey across i guess is the shape of the wave just before it hit the sand.

It was about 30-40cm high (very small).

I just came back from Byron, and will post some pictures up a bit later (hopefully better).

Really appreciate your feedback, helps me fine tune my images.

Yes, That's also what i like about this image, the texture / detail underneath the wave before it disappeared forever. Very symmetrical kind of stuff.

The shot was taken at Bundeena, a relatively unknown location south of Sydney - in the Royal National Park,

my brother has friends there and I went with him to see them

I remember a large complex place for having meals
looking out right over the bay
