I did a search for this little guy but found nothing... I appologize if this is a repost. And yes... I'm a bit new to lighting.

Do you think if you strapped a diffuser to the front of this little guy it could work well for back lighting?

I wouldn't think that it was bright enough, unless you are doing a very long exposure of a static object at f/1.2, thats just my novice opionion though. I don't think you can use it for people, maybe for tabletop product photography.

The light it produces will be dreadfully inadequate for almost every kind of photography I can think of.
