We are entertaining the idea of outsourcing some of our album design work to get caught up with our recent workload.
Please email me: mikeminnig at yahoo if you are interested in the work. We would supply the images and expect to review one or two rounds of proofs. We want someone who can supply us with the files ready for uploading to Asuka Book.
An ideal candidate would have some sample album designs to show us and be familiar with Asuka. Reasonable turn around times are also expected.
Thank you,
Mike

PicturiaPress,
Since your in this business could you confirm the following thinking? I have quoted it below...
Just so everyone is on the same *page* about the term "Coffee Table Book"...
A true coffee table book should be rectangle or square with no rounded corners. It should have a hard or soft cover with or without a dust jacket with the same design. The pages can bend and would be trivial to rip if you really wanted to. The paper used is *NOT* photographic paper which is the main give-away that they are coffee table books. It is essentially a picture book like what you might find at Barnes and Noble book stores.
A wedding album is photographic paper professionally glued or attached somehow to 1/16 inch matted material. These pages don't bend. This photographic paper can be flush mounted or mounted within the matting (as in the case of a 5x7). These albums are heavy with leather (usually) for their outside covers.
Most of the album and photo book makers are advertising themselves correctly however there are a few who are confusing these long establish terms. Namely Leather Craftsmen who is calling their 3500 series a coffee table book. It is anything but (although nice for what it is - a seamless album).
WHCC has a coffee table book (which they call a press printed book which is a correct term if your in the business of printing) which has advanced the style with hinged pages that can lay flat.
