Shot some movies with my S70 and downloaded the movies to the computer via a card reader and I was trying to import the movies into Premiere 6.5 but I get an error saying that Premiere is unable to open the file because "This file uses an unsupported compression format."

Quicktime Pro opens the files and so does Microsoft Moviemaker.

Anyone else have this problem? I'm going to post a question in the Adobe forums but though I would give the Canon forums a shot too. Thanks.

I dont have the Adobe Premier, but with other editing software (quicktime pro with divx and Final Cut) I dont have any problems, may be try changing the format with another software so then you can open it on Premier. Try using CLEANER for making the AVI a MOV, MPEG, or another movie file.

But I honestly have to say I didnt shot video with my S70, I think just when I buy it I take some to see the results, and its pretty well for small or web videos.

Good luck.
