Is it possible to change the option to request a receipt to off instead of of it boing on always?

I almost never request receipt on PM's or emails for that matter and never on the first message. So its a bit anoying to get the question do You want a receipt every time I send a PM.

Its a common problem on VB bourds, I just get used to hitting cancel, although I do forget or miss a few times and hit ok.

As far as I know it can't be changed unless you fiddle with the code.

Never, ever, fiddle with the code.

If thats true it really is a shame because in my opinion requesting receipts as default show a lack of respect for the reciepient! Receipts should only be used when one or 2 messages over time has not been responded to anything else is plain and simple annoying. If I have control over it I never allow the system to send a confirm receipt.

If it can't be turned of administratively I hope Pekka will sugest that feature to the developers for a future version.

You do not have to request a receipt. Yeah it's a pain that it comes up everytime. Just hit and no receipt is sent, your PM is sent and all's good.
