Hi,

Dropped my 17-85mm IS lens and needs repair. Where can I send it without charging me a bundle. Think the autofucus is broke.

Canon service in New Jersey. Of course, I don't know about the not charging "a bundle" part.

yea the focus unit is probley what needs repair .. that is not cheap.

I dropped a 10-22 @ arches last year; Canon Irvine charged me ~ 70.00 for an 'internal zoom assembly'.

The lens was totalled in my opinion. It fell between 50 and 75' from where I was climbing to the unforgiving ground below.

One more reason I love Canon.
