I took these at Preservation Hall. It's a great place to listen a good old New Orleans style jazz. The place is jam packed, but it's great. This light was far from great, but I manage to take a few shots at ISO 1600, 50mm f/1.8

Oh my, now that is classy!

A drummer as I am, I wouldn't mind gigging at that place!

Awesome!

Those are great shots. I've been there and the conditions (lighting and crowd) are at the best difficult.

Well done!

what was the white-balance setting on? I think these pics would look amazing if they were sepia. And you did a great job of capturing the musicians' expressions!

j03,

The white-balance was on auto. The place had this yellow cast. There was only 3 50W lights where the musicians were. I'll try sephia tone.
