My powershot G 1 suddenly stopped working. Does anybody know where can I fix it in the UK without having to go trough outrageous charges for quotations at Jessops?

I had the same problem too and apparently it is quite common with the G1 as I understood from the technician. Mostly likely your problem is a blown fuse too.
