Looking at getting a new laptop, how is the screen on this one for editing? Only had the glossy option, but from what I have read shouldn't be a huge problem other then glare.

Second, what screen resolution would be the preferred? 1280 X 800 or 1440 x 900

Also looking at the new Studio 15. Appreciate all feedback, No Im not going to buy a Mac, needs to be a dell

My son is an engineering student and works at a mechanical engineering firm. He runs Autocad apps on his 1530 and it handles this software without a problem. The screen looks very clean and the colors look good. I think it would be more than adequate for image editing. I'd go with the highest resolution and the best graphic card option offered by Dell. The trade-off is standard text will look microscopic.
