Rotalux octagonal softbox or beauty dish

I'm thinking of trying out some beauty shots and cannot decide between buying a dedicated beauty dish or getting a rotalux octagonal softboxes and a set of deflectors......which according to the blurb can also act as a beauty dish by removing the diffuser. Does anyone have experience of these and could post up some examples of shots taken? Are they comparable or is it just advertising blurb?

Not sure if you are referring to the Deep Throat but you can see some examples here. The outdoor image was taken with both panels off. Indoors both on.

I just received my Deep Throat from B&H. It went together much easier than I expected. Everyone siad it would be much harder than the midi Octa but for some reason it was much easier for me. Box looks good, can't wait to shoot with it.

Oh and it came with a nice cary bag :)

Now how do you take this thing apart without killing everyone around you?
