Attn: Canadian East Coasters or visitors to the East Coast

I'm heading out to PEI Specifically for a week at the end of August with a friend of mine, I intend on taking a lot of photos, going to be passing through New Brunswick obviously as well :) Just curious what these 2 provinces possibly 3 (NS) offer on the East Coast as far as must see's ?? I've never been to the East Coast so its all new to me :) My parents went last year and had a blast so I'm quite excited. I would also like to check out the whale watching tours :)

Any help/info is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.

There are a million things to see and photograph. I'll give you a link to one that just blew me away in NB - the Flower Pot Rocks. They're on the Hopewell Cape in the Bay of Fundy which you may know has the highest tides in the world. Awesome. If you can't get there, make sure you see something on the Bay of Fundy, just to experience the huge tidal changes.

I'm actually totally planning on the bay of fundy trip lol I keep seein the commercial on tv for the high tides, also I'd like to check out the reversing falls :D

Cape Enrage is a must if you're going to be in NB for any amount of time! It's on your way to Fundy... Great place to take pictures... And there is The Rocks too on the way to Fundy. Wonderful place for pictures as well... There's Kings Landing in Fredericton, uh.... what else? On your way through NB, there's lots of nice shots you can get of scenery and such... I'm just wondering what's going on as far as fairs, concerts and such then... What days were you planning on coming down?

LOL... There are a lot of places here to photograph.... And there is on the island too... I love going to Cape Enrage.... And the Rocks are lots of fun too as long as you're there when the tide is out.... :D Here's the link for the rocks.... It'll give you the table for the tides..

NS has lots of places to shoot.
Peggys Cove is a must and if you get a chance Cape Breton.
PEI is wonderful and plenty of photo opportunities.
The Sand Dunes are worth seeing.
While there dont forget the Lobster and the Mussels.

Kiddo - I totally agree - I got some great shots when I was there lasts summer - however I shot them all in JPG instead of RAW... Oh what was I thinking???!!! ehehhe

Blindz24 - I will certainly let you know... New camera (40D) and new lens (70-200mm) and have been stalking "wild life" in my back yard for practice... oh and hubby got me a 4Gig card too... yeah I should be set to go!!! lol
