Hiya.
First time shotting at a gig, last night with my 50mm 1.8 and 400D.

Colors are real nice...but the shot is *up the nose* and tilted...We generally try to stay away from those angles...
Also, give us the band name and venue, location and date in the title...rather than C&C requests... We generally C&C nearly everything posted here... so that's a given...
Do you have access to other gear?..
Got any more pics?..

Hiya,
Yes up the nose is not sch a good look is it.
The Bands the LONG TIME DEAD, check out there myspace page, there really good. Was taken in christchurch england, last thursday.
What other gear do you think would help??

Not bad captures, but some technicalities: They all appear a bit soft. Did you sharpen after resizing?
I don't see exif, but the last one is probably a bit motion blurred, second focussed wrong.
The 50/1.8 can be a bit problematic with focus in these circumstances.
High ISO is your friend ;)

Hiya,
I sharpened first then resized, should i do it the other way round?
The 50/1.8 was having probs focusing in the low light, i was at 1600iso, my 400D don't go any higher, if i had a 40D with 3200 on it would that be better??
Like i said it was my first time shooting a gig so any help is all good thank you.
