i think this is the heaviest setup that i can assemble with my current equipment...

1. D30
2. BG-ED3 attached
3. 70-200mm f4 attached
4. 420EX attached

which tripod would be best for this setup? i'm thinking of either the manfrotto 3001 Pro B or the 3021 Pro B (with the 486RC2 ball head attached). calculation wise, the 3001 Pro B would be more than enough for this load. i was wondering if anyone has any similar experience in this (setup wise and choice of tripod).

thanks in advance.

cheers!

I use a Manfrotto setup. Below is my current setup for most of my shooting.

Manfrotto 3021PRO Tripod
Manfrotto 322RC2 Tripod Head (Pistol Grip Ball head)

With the 1D Mark II, 70-200 f/2.8 L IS and either extender, this is easily supported by the 322RC2 head. The following shot was taken with the 1D, 70-200 f/2.8 L IS, 1.4x Extender II and 2.0x Extender II (560mm total) on the very same tripod/head combination. Heavy.
