Make FireFox Faster

If you use FireFox you will want to check this out. It sets FireFox to use pipelining (multiple simultaneous requests to the web server) and faster screen painting. Note that if you use dial-up this won't make much difference.

Whatever - just started to use firefox - vast improvement over IE - but not quite as fast despite the recommended tweeks

I love the tabs - especially multiple home pages:D

I made the changes a few days ago, and so far have found not problems. It does seem to load pages faster, but I wouldn't call it a tremendous improvement.
