Been looking at all the various bag reviews on here but still can't decide.
What bag should I get for the following:
Canon 400D
70-300mm IS USM
Nifty Fifty
Sigma 10-20mm.
That's it.
Though a pouch for a laptop would be nice.
So I'm looking for the smallest around that would fit the above.
Thanks all.

Location, price, backpack/messenger, etc. We need a bit more.

Location is UK, but most bag models are avalaible worldwide.
Price well I was hoping for no more than £60.
Don't mind design.

I live in the UK, and I have one of these Lowepro Slingshot 100AWs. I only have a basic 400D kit, with one lens/charger/extra battery/remote conrol etc but there is room for at least 2 lenses + extras and they do make larger models within the range.

One of the best features is that you can swing it around to access your camera when wearing it and undo a flap to get it out, without having to take it off and open the whole bag etc.
I find it very useful, although I am starting to think I may need a slightly larger one as at least one new lens is on the horizon. As I mentioned above, they do do larger versions as well, the 200AW and the 300AW.
I can't really think of any negative points about it: It's very well made, has quite a few extra pockets/pouches and is very compact.
I paid about 38 quid for a new one on eBay a few months ago I think. Search about and you should find a deal.

My 5MDH fits my 40D, nifty 50, 28-135mm, and 17-55mm. It's not a very big bag either.

Unfortunately the OP doesn't realize bags differ around the world plus availability. Crumplers especially, so the 5MDH not really an option. Also, money is different to everyone places so those "small" things mean a lot.
Most I'd say is check Lowepro's line. Can't really go wrong with them.

Take a look at the Lowepro Orion Trekker (no laptop space) / Compu Trekker (space for laptop) range for backpacks, their Nova range (poss, Nova 3 if you want some space for expansion, but no laptop space) etc for shoulder type bags. Crumpler does some messenger style bags called Pretty Boy which come in different sizes (I am not familiar with these though) as well as backpacks (though they tend to be more expensive, but look less obvious as a camera bag). Tamrac seem to have reasonably priced bags and their expedition series backpacks can take a laptop (well the bigger ones do) - though they may be too big for your needs.
By getting a bag to fit a laptop, you may find that you end up with a bag with plenty of spare camera gear space, so if you want the smallest camera bag possible - it may be better to get a camera bag without a laptop pouch, and get a seperate small laptop case (like a neoprene sleeve)
Check out Warehouse Express (www.warehouseexpress.co.uk) they seem to have a decent selection of different brands and styles - and also have links to the manufacturers sites where you can see the sizes etc. Though best option is to wander around all your local camera shops with your gear, and try as many out as possible to find the best one for you - assuming you live near a decent sized town or a city!
