I think it could be better - their faces take up too little of the frame for my tastes. And yeah, they do look like an old married couple ;)

Sorry to say it, but it's too busy for me. Nothing really jumps out as the focus. Maybe shortening the DOF would help, but with such strong colours in the background, it might still be too much

Overall, good idea. I find the neon sign a little overpowering, I agree that I would have like a bit more of the two subject's heads (previous poster said faces, i think) and the colour's seems a bit off but all those are just personal taste. I like the setting, the mood, the distance, ambiguity, timing... I love images that make me ask questions.

i played with the curves and blacks in photoshop to my liking. but thanks everyone for you're repsonses, it helps a lot. someone said the space in between is symbolic, and thats exactly what i was goin for. so great!
