View Full Version : Stockport Air Raid Tunnels (URBEX)

These tunnels were dug in the 1940s and were used as air raid shelter for WW2.
The tunnels are dug into sandstone so thats why the rock apears red.

It took us over 30mins to walk from one side to the other
heres a map of the tunnels under stockport (the red ring shows the entry)

they are bricked up
i imagine they dont want people going down these places
