I was driving home this evening after work and as I was exiting I felt a weird twinge, and the next thing you know, I blacked out! I'm not sure how long I was out, but when I awoke, I was sitting at my kitchen table, and low and behold there was a Canon 20D, 2 x 1gb SD Ultra II, and a receipt from my local electronics retailer. I don't know how it happened, but boy was there a smile on my face!!!! :)

Yeah definitely! LOL lets just say that my wallet no longer exists! But I played with the 20D last night. Nothing serious, just taking a few shots here and there, and I have to say that so far it seems to be well worth it. As soon as I capture something worth posting, I will definitely post it on one of the photo threads. I can't wait. It's like Christmas all over again...without the wrapping paper! :)

During the holidays I stopped in at the local best buy and was looking around and saw a 20D sitting on display... I picked it up, popped in a flash card I had in my pocket, and turned it to RAW mode to see how fast it really shoots in contuinous mode, when the shutter clicked in rapid fire my 6 month old daughther just about jumped out of her stroller and started grabbing for it... I want one SOOOO bad but I spent SOOOO much money in the last 6 months.. lets see....

Hmmmm, plus a BUNCH of other small things that just add up.... SOOOOO, I think the 20D will have to wait till next X-Mas... Who knows, Canon might come out with something new by then anyways.... I wanted to build up my lenses anyways and get the junk out of my bag first, which I think I did pretty damn well.. Wouldn't mind picking up a 24-70L though and maybe a 85mm.....

What's dat email I got from B&H !! conformation of 24-70 L, 2 gb utra II, and a wired remote :shock: must be the wrong address (I hope not! :D )

Not to argue or anything, but I think he meant "SD" card. It's a trivial point really.
