Hi all,

I'm a new member here so be kind ;)

Here are a couple of pictures I took with my A80 whilst in France last September.

The first is a shot of the bridge at Samur at night, can't remember the settings but tell me what you think Picture here (http://www.greeneye.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/france/samur.JPG)

The second was taken from much the same spot but looking back at the Chateau that dominates the skyline. My favorite bit about this one is the blurring of the car lights towards the bottom of the picture. This is a large picture! Picture Here (http://www.greeneye.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/france/night.JPG)

This (http://www.greeneye.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/france/church.JPG) last one was a bit more of an experiment.

Would welcome commects on composition etc. on all of the shots.

I have now upgraded my camera to an A95 after some dead pixels were spotted on those pictures. Not really had chance to have a good play as yet but will be looking for opportunites

The picture of the bridge is very nice but it needs straigthening, the horizon is very tilted.I really like the castle shot - nice one!

The last one - keep experimenting it is the best way to make discoveries!

The last one - keep experimenting it is the best way to make discoveries!I'll take that as an 'ermmmmmmmmm, no' then

Thanks for the comments!

Not a no - more of an "interesting idea". :)

Really like the first two. The angle of the bridge seems OK to me, it is merely a matter of perspective. The bridge also gets smaller as it recedes, but you wouldn't correct for that. Number three doesn't do anything for me, but that doesn't make it bad. Someone else may love it.

I like the first two too...
Unfortunately there's a construction grid (don't know exactly how you call it) at the right of the castle... but that's not your fault ;) . Good job
As for the bridge picture, I agree with Damian, it's tilted to the left.
As the houses at the end of the bridge have the same number of stories and are in one plane about parallel to the focus plane, you can orientate yourself at the line formed by the lower part of the roof and tilt the picture such that this line is horizontal...
