I was shooting at a local car show and it was very difficult to get clean shots of the cars; they were far too close together and the owbers and onlookers were cramped in too close.
Anyway, I focused on some detail shots and tried to edit out distractions. I was wondering people thought of this type of presentation.

nice concept, but wouldve been nicer to have the entire front end in focus. thanks for sharing!

I guess the clutter in the original isn't as distracting as I thought.

With cars it is nice to see all the details. Not a fan of the shallow DOF in the first pic. Unless you want to get closer like focus on the grill or a particular part.

I don't see anything in the original that you could not clone or Patch out if you just want the one car in the shot.

The angle of the shot is great. The detail of the front is very good too. If you want to touch it up, I would suggest leaving the picture as is w/o cropping. Take out the cars on each side and the passenger door. I think the hood folded up adds to the picture. Add some blur around the car only, don't blur any of the car. Then add a little vignette to the edges and give it a black frame.
See what that does.

I like zero's suggestion, but I would leave the passenger door.

If you want to touch it up,... Need to remove a background from something? (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=82876)
