Sensor dust is driving me crazy! I have a small blower purchased from my local camera store but I've heard that the Giottos blowers are the best. I see there are two types. One looks like a finned cannonball and the other is more elongated. Which one moves more air or develops higher pressure? Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge.

I think the most popular one around here is the finned football/rugby ball looking one (the elongated one).

Not the round one, not the one with the tiltable blower.

Giottos rocket blowers come in several sizes and shapes...the large size (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/259157-REG/Giottos_AA1900_Rocket_Air_Blower_.html) is best for use at home...and the small size (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/388983-REG/Giottos_AA1920_Rocket_Air_Blower_.html) is perfect for slipping in a camera bag or a vest pocket. Both provide a decent stream of air and are ample for all your dust removal chores. There is only a dollar difference in price.

I agree, the Giottos are the best. I just need to get a smaller one. The one I have (medium I think) takes up too much space in my pack.

i have the large one and it works great. if you want to take it with you, then get a small one. the large one takes up like a whole pocket in my bag lol

Just go ahead and order the large for home and the small for the camera bag. You'll eventually get both anyway. ;)

The best IMO is the Large Rocket Blower. I had the small and medium and just wasnt pleased.

He speaks the truth. I use the medium (takes up less space in my bag) and it often takes quite a few puffs to clear the dust bunnies out; plus I sometimes need too put it closer to the sensor than I otherwise care to.. The large, if space isn't a concern, simply requires less puffing.

Exactly....there is very little difference in the force of the air coming from them...the large just offers a touch more volume...the small one is fine for the field....

Thanks for the helpful advice, everyone. I'm going with both sizes. Some great tips here.
