Help!

I'm trying to decide between the pretty boy XXXL, 5Million dollar home and the 6Million dollar home. Which one do you prefer?

Kit is 350D, tamron 17-50, canon 70-200 F4, 430EX flash, bulb blower, ebay trigger.

Might not fit in the 5MDH.

My gripped xti, 17-55is with hood and 430ex would barely fit in the 5MDH (think sardine can). I would definitely get the 6 MDH at the very least. I bought the 5MDH originally but exchanged it for a 6 to give me room to expand (possible 70-200 4L in the future). I think the 6MDH would be perfect for your gear.

Thanks gool and wytwolf. So the 5Mill is out. Any opinions on the pretty boy?

Need others not from America to hear about those. WOuld fit in the 5MDH but are you looking to expand soon or have some extra room?

I'm in debt in the next 12 months. So probably the gear will stay the same for a while. :(

hey buddy!:D im not too familiar with the pretty boy series but how about the 6 or 7MDH? im currently using the 7 MDH & i think that it would better in case you decide to add to your gear. my wife uses the 5 MDH & your gear might not fit.

Wow, the 5MDH fits a gripped camera? I really like the size of my 5MDH but I will be expanding soon. Debating whether to keep my 5MDH for those day trips, and a bigger bag to hold everything. I'm getting a grip and 580ex II flash soon, and may be getting a 30mm f/1.4 EX and 70-200L f/4 IS soon.

I know the 5MDH won't fit all that, but right now it fits my 40D w/ 17-55IS (hood reversed), 28-135IS, and 50 f/1.8 with a little bit of room to spare.

Would it fit a gripped 40D w/ 17-55IS, 30mm, and 580ex?

To the OP: the 5MDH is a good bag, but it's probably too small for your gear. I'd go for the 6MDH if you want everything to fit in comfortably.

I was pretty set on the 6Mill. But someone offered a PB at a good price (First time i've heard of it too). From the specs, the size seems in between the 5 and 6 Mill. If it's smaller than the 6 and will still fit my gear, might opt for that one.

@Anthony
Thanks for the info.

I have a pretty boy xxxl (ooo er) fits in my 40d with 17-55 on, 100macro and 70-200 f4IS
just enough room for wireless shutter as well, could prob fit blower too. CPL and spare mem card in the front (could fit a tiny bit more here )

I'm slightly annoyed that this is all it fits, the specs say it could fit much more, trouble with buying online I guess, no where nearby to see them in person.

Should be fine to fit your camers 2 lenses and the flash fine though.

Yes it fits but like a sardine. The kit went on the right side under the flap, the flash went on the right on top of the flat. The gripped XTI with 17-55mm and hood reversed would fit in the middle sideways and grip overflowing onto the flap on the left. The hot-shoe was butted up against the side of the flash. The flash would not be in the supplied case and was folded down to an L shape to just fit. There was little to no room on the left under the left flap.

I'm surprised you got all your gear in that bag.

get the 7 MDH, it'll give you room to grow.

I've got a very similar kit and the 6MDH.
XTi, Sigma 18-50 F2.8, Canon 70-200 F4, 430EX, bulb blower, and a couple lens pens in the bag with a little room to spare. I could probably fit my 50 1.8 in there, but it would be a tight squeeze.

Very nicely made bag, but maybe a bit small if you ever decide you want to carry more than that.

I have a 6MH and I think it should fit your kit. Get the 7MH if you plan to expand and carry more.

Thanks grumbledook. It's ok if it's at the limit, I want the smallest bag possible as this will be my daily bag.

Matt, Seb, the 7M is out, it's too big for me.

Ehhh, Eye,
Thanks for the info. If the PB doesn't fit the gear properly, I'll be getting the 6M.

The 7mdh is deceptive (looks REAL big on online photos), I had to triple check mine to make sure they didn't send me the 6mdh on accident (it was smaller than I expected).

A great bag nonetheless (I wish I could afford the BDH).
