Searching

Its more than likely that I am missing the blindingly obvious, but is there a way to search the individual forums by topic? Takes a lot of scrolling otherwise.

Not exactly BY TOPIC, but, if you click "Search", then "Advanced Search" you can search by keyword. You can select if the keyword is to be in the title, or anywhere in the thread. Also, you can select Specific Forums. Let's say you are interested in Cougars. You can search for the keyword, "Cougar", and then you can specify "Nature and Animals", or "Motorsports", or "Glamour and Nude", all depending on the kind of Cougar you like.

Now here is the part that might mess things up. By searching for Keywords in the title that might represent the topic, you are trusting the Original Poster to actually put the topic in the title. Good luck on that!
