I got lucky and have a '99 Toreador Red SVT Contour for the week. My dad had the shift linkage come apart three days before closing on their local house, had to get repaired. :) I get to drive it back to the other side of MI this weekend. Dad was program manager on the SVT Contour at Ford, always funto drive.
Did some quick editing on a few shots from tonight.
Wife driving the car, daughter waving in the backseat -

Hanging out with the Fusion (manual trans!) -

My first shot with my umbrellas, 580 master with a 580II and 430 firing into the umbrellas. Chose a bad location, too close to a curb.

A few pics from the SVT Countour launch back in '97, cheap Minolta film cam for most shots.

Yep, CDW-27 (CD size class, W for "world").

I like the pans and waving child :) My wife is far to stuffy to indulge my hobbies by driving around :(

Very nice job on the panning!!! Great shots!
Not take that Fusion over to my friends at MRT and have them put a turbo on it! WOOHOO! LOL!

Thanks, I have some connections with Roush here in Livonia, MI...but it's a lease. Might be replaced soon with a Flex or Taurus X, not quite as much fun.
We got really lucky on the Fusion. SEL, loaded with every option, but it has the I-4 and a manual trans. You can't find them too often on the dealer lot like that! And GM and Chrysler don't even offer a manual on their C/D-class equivalent vehicles.

Sounds like my Hummer H3... I have a manual... everyone, including some GM salesmen say the same thing, "I didn't know you could get a manual in the H3" LOL

Underexposed the background by about two stops and filled the car in with FEC +3 from a 580II and 430 mounted on stands, firing into 33" umbrellas. A 580 acted as master on my 40D.
