Hey folks,

I spent the other day with several photography buddies of mine from the mr2oc and explored Alameda Naval Station. Here's the result of some fun times:

All of these were taken with a 28-70 f/2.8L mounted to an Xti, poverty wizards with 2-4 flashes in sync (2 Sunpak 383s, one Pentax flash from a friend and a Promaster ebay special from another friend).

Nice shots Ethan. I love the head light shot and the one below it. Looks like a nice location to shoot.

The Alameda NAS is an awesome place to shoot cars, people, pets, etc.

I particularly like the ones towards the end when the sun went down. The last photo in particular with the STOP on the road is awesome. The one of the Miata (or whatever they call it these days) from the side has a bit too much DoF for me. Though the white car does stand out from the background.

The detail shots on the yellow car really work well. In particular the one from the rear looking forward is a great angle and well lit.

BTW, sunset on a partly cloudy day at the NAS is just amazing when the sun sets behind SF.
