Can you give your opinion if a minimalistic website looses in presentation power to a more complex one with a lots of cool effects.
Being too lazy with creation of those cool effects I found an excuse that a simple website wins in predictability and simplicity of the user interface.

Minimalist is always better, and yours looks very good, loads fast, and easy to navigate.

Thats definatley minimal!!!! too minimal for me. If it is just for fun its OK. But if it is a professional site you need more to it. Not all the bellls and whistles, but just simply content. Give the people something to read as well as look at. At least put a "welcome" on the home page.
I didnt expext a cometary story on the price page. I gave up after the first paragraph. Just lay it out... What do you expect to get paid ? If you are priceing you r self cheep, give a reason. Note that you have "low overhead, that allows value priced, yet high quality results"
The gallery is OK. My only tidbit here is the Lupe series is the best, but there are a lot of apparent repeat images. Only include 1 of very similar shots. There are several that could be pulled and actually make it a better gallery.
Dont say "Im only available on weekends" Re-word it to say something like. "currently booking weekends"
When your done. rewrite again. This is what I am haveing to do with mine. Or write it the way you want... Then ask a friend to rewrite it. They will be able to be a lot more neutral on stuff than we can ever be.,
I know first hand how hard it is to build your own site. And the hardest thing to get over on this project is yourself. My site sucks at the moment too. Im building it my self and my friend that is guideing me lives in another state. So I load it to the web mainly so he can see it and give pointers. I only have it listed here is so Google can recognise that links. ( part of the SEO) I think your on a good path. Its just hard to get started. But you will get there.

Thanks hommedars. I hate websites that take ages to load (and then start popping separate windows). I might add something to he website but most probably will keep it very simple. After all this is about photography :0

Thank Mark1 for the detailed analysis of the site.
Yes, the price sesction contains too many words. I was thinking about replacing it wit one word "FREE" in huge font over the whole page instead :-)

Free sounds great but I think you will get more clients with them paying than free! Even if it is $10. If you want the work, but don't care about getting paid....then charge "transportation" costs. Or a booking fee. Otherwise you are just some guy who overbought his camera and thinks he is a professional. ( no offense - just mentioning a stereotype) And this actually keeps some clients away. At the minimum cover your gas to get where you need to shoot.
