I'm proud of this picture. It was taken at night. He/she was hunting and stood still for me. I did a 2.5 Second exposure and I used a flash light i had to paint the heron. Hope you guys like it:

Thats incredible! Amazing effect you acheived.. and even more amazing that you were able to pull this off with a beautifull Night Heron!

Thanks folks. I got lucky, i was taking night shots of the marina and a sail boat (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=52942) and i saw it under the docks. It was in the shadow so I remembered some of the posts about painting with light, fired the shutter and hit the heron with the light for about half a second.
