Hi All,

I'd like to know what gallery packages are available to create my portfolio/website.

I'd like it to be free/opensource and php. I have my own domain name and hosting to use. I have used Wordpress for blogging before so anything that's as easy to use as that would be great.

I have searched and came up with smugmug and zenfolio but would rather utilize my own webspace.

Cheers, Dan

hi,

Open Source CMS (http://www.opensourcecms.com/index.php) is a good site for testing free open source software.

there's a section for image gallery software somewhere on there..

i decided on Gallery2 for mine.

hope that helps

Have a look at JAlbum. I have used it for a couple of years on my web site at www.jokar.com.au

JAlbum is free, open source, extensively customisable, but it includes a number of skins which make it entirely useable without any development effort on your part. www.jalbum.net
