1) ummmm ... what is your message with this shot? it looks a snapshot from the sidewalk, with the funny painted car as the subject. am i missing something?

2) nice -- but a victim of poor focus or camera shake. i like the contrasting colors. maybe it could be 1/2 stop darker so the light's reflection on the wall wasn't so hot.

3) way cool. i dig it! especially the little "puff" of sky above the building. good stuff.

4) looks more like "a lady about to be run over by the bus" ;-) the composition could be stronger -- there is little here that makes me pause to look further into the scene. if the woman was gesturing or running, that would be a much stronger photo. even stronger if the bus driver was visible and had a reaction. better also if the woman was not directly in front of the bus i think -- maybe running at an angle (even perpendicular) to the bus.

my general composition advice: figure out what you want your message to be in a photo. then do everything in your power to exaggerate that message to make it really strong. e.g. with the goofy car, make the photo goofy! shoot with a fisheye lens. put a goofy person next to it! make it as goofy as you can, then you will have a super goofy photo that people will go "wow, that's f****n' goofy! i love it!" when they look at it. ;-)

I don't see anything very interesting in those shots, sorry - nothing grabs me.

I like #3 and #4. They look a little like album art.

#2 has some interest but the bag ruins it. The others don't grab me.
