Photos being cut in processing

I am having a problem with my photo processing, when I send my photos to Walgreen's for processing some time they come with a side cut off, but in my pc I can see the entire photo whole and intackt. do I need to make the photo bigger than 5x7? please help I am using my 30D. thanks for your help

It's best to crop them to the size you want BEFORE sending them to print.

It's pretty basic mathematics when you think about it - your camera takes photos at 2:3 proportions which is different to the 5:7 proportions you're getting printed. Something has to be cropped.

without cropping (well a little 3% all round usually) you can print 6x4, 9x6, 12x8, 18x12, 30x20
