I'm looking at the following lenses for my 20D.
Sigma 28-80mm f3.5-5.6 HF AF
Sigma 70-300mm f4.5-6.7 DL AF
I would like to know if anyone has any experience with these lenses and what can you tell me about them

Take a look here (http://www.photographyreview.com/Lenses/PSC_3787crx.aspx). My one comment is F6.7 is very, very slow for 300mm, I returned a sigma lens because it was too slow at F4.5-5.6.

You could also have a look here (http://www.fredmiranda.com/reviews/showgallery.php?cat=29) for some good reviews of Sigma Lenses. Hope this helps.

You are using a $1,500 dollar camera and putting $100 dollar lenses on it.
I would rather put my money on good lenses and spend less on the camera if I wanted high quality pictures. You would get much better results if you spent $500 less on the camera (300D) and put into one good lens.
I do not have anything against Sigma lenses, I use several myself, but I would stick to their EX line.
Lenses are a much better long term investment than digital camera bodies.

I HIGHLY recommend to consider the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 Xr Di (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=284399&is=REG) lens over that Sigma. At the price of less that $330 it's really the best lens in its class.

So the lens tells the camera it's at f/5.6 instead of f/6.7 when you zoom it to 300mm. How it then compensates for the aperture difference, I don't know....
And Scott is right, you have such a wonderful camera (the 20D), you're wasting its capabilities if you're using cheap, low-quality lenses...

That is what I needed to know. I know so little about lenses that I need to ask when I see lenses such as these. Thank you for your input.
