Okay, after taking another 43,000 photos today (well I'm sure it feels like that to my children!), I've found a few I'm happier with - any comments appreciated...

Sheye, Your colours are superb and I love the expressions.
#1 and #3 are my favourites, but if it were my work, I'd be proud of all of them. Well done!

How did you get that color balance? It looks very Kodachrome-like (or whatever they used in those LIFE magazine color photos from the 60's and early 70s).

How did you get that color balance? It looks very Kodachrome-like (or whatever they used in those LIFE magazine color photos from the 60's and early 70s).
-JNSI played the shadow/highlight and added a diffuse glow. I sometimes increase the saturation a little to get this effect as well...I much prefer it to "natural" looking colours...Here is another photo of a friend that I did something similar with.
