Is it ok to use HDR images in a portfolio?

I think thats a question.... I am not quite sure what i am trying to represent yet but i just wanted to know for future reference.
anyone else have an opinion why or why not to use HDR in a portfolio?

I cannot see any reason why they can't be used - they are your photos. As long as the quality of the final image is good then I think it should be ok.

If your willing to do the HDR work to your photos for the customer and can do it efficiently (not like the one time it came out great).
Then I see no reason not to show it in your portfolio ;)
put a note classifying it as a HDR photo so the customer knows its special work ;)
Just my opinion of course :)

Deciding what to put in you portfolio is tough. Be very critical of yourself. Show only about the best 10.
You will change your mind about what to use in a short time. But pick something for now.

Well, yes, if it deserves to be there.
Don't use an HDR landscape in a portfolio during an interview for high fashion.
Some jobs may like the look, regardless of how it was made. Others may appreciate that particular skill is in your bag.
