I give up. Can't place any of those shots. We must go in different directions.:) Avon Mountain was slow but steady.

Wonderful shots. It looks just like where I live....if you replace the snow with sand, the trees with scraggly little bushes, and the barns with Indian casinos.

I love snow, mainly because of childhood memories of growing up in Iowa and Wisconsin. Now, I rejoice in the fact that I live in a climate where I can wear shorts 12 months out of the year.

All good shots, but the last is my favorite. Looks a lot like the house we had in NJ, many years ago. I always enjoyed that first snowfall, just before Christmas, but hated it the rest of winter. I won't bother to discuss our recent weather.

Britain is well known for heavy snow - in fact most years when we get more than an inch it is described as a 'blizzard' and brings the country to a halt. I'm not joking!!

Scotland gets its fair share and I have been snowed in during a trip to Scotland, three days over new year stuck in pub. Life's hard.

I live in a penninsula and we rarely get snow at home as the sea keeps our average temperature above the rest of the surrounding area.

My son is 5 in March and has NEVER been able to build a snowman in the garden. We have to go to Wales to let him go sledging.

Funny, but when I was a kid we seemed to get a lot of snow. Global warming or a trick of memory?
