Hi All,

I recently purchased this baby thinking it would be a nice (compact) fit with my G4 laptop.

I can't get the cards to mount. It did not ship with drivers. I can't find drivers on the Lexar site. There is no support documentation on the site for this product.

Anyone get this working in their Mac and/or know where the drivers can be found? What are the experiences out there? Mine are sub par for the moment.

thanks and happy new year to the board!

Had nothing but problems using the cardbus. Loaded no faster than a USB reader, and maybe a hair slower.

Switched to a Lexar firewire reader. All I can say is it is darn fast and convenient.

I dont believe there are any drivers for these for the mac. At least that is the last I heard. Supposedly Lexar was working on it, but not sure if its available. or not.

On a PC its the best money that I ever spent. It screams and is faster than my firewire card reader. It works great, but I have heard there were issues with it on a Mac.

I'd call Lexar support, they have always been more than helpful.

For what it is worth. I could not find a OSX driver for this product anywhere on the web. Pretty ridiculous considering that their spec sheets and web info all state that this product is mac compatible.

So, on a whim I tried the Delkin Cardbus 32 driver (downloaded from their site)... and it works fine for the Lexar cardbus as well. I have not done extensive testing on it yet, but it seems to be stable and offers speedy transfers to my HD (and just as important it means no extra gadgets in the bag to carry with me).

cheers!
