Well I finally joined the macro club with the purchase of the Canon 100mm macro. Man this lens is fun and it has the power to make you take pictures of really inane things like my dog's eye. Tell me what you think of my first attempt. Also any suggestions on a quality insect book?

Ditto! Welcome to the world of macro. I have a 60, but have access to a 100 at work. It is a sweet lens!

Thanks for the comments. I have quite a learning curve ahead of me macro seems pretty tough to get a hang of, but I will enjoy every minute of the learning experience.:D
