Does this look too "warm" or "yellow" to anyone. Once I got it printed it was terribly to yellow. How do I correct this is PS elements? Any ideas. I find that it very hard to adjust a picture becasue once it printed it always looks different thna it did on the computer!!
Many thanks

Really this should be in the Post Processing Forum - I would suggest contacting one of the Moderator's and see if if can be moved.
However, here is what I've managed to do in elements 2:
http://www.btinternet.com/~David.Lewins/g5/images/resized_port2.jpg
All I did was press Ctrl + L and adjust the white balance using the droppers to the right of the screen - start with the white and work through to the black.
Then I altered the brightness and contrast. This is by no means perfect and you will need to play with it some more
Also you should consider some form of Calibration between you monitor and printer have a look at these two articles http://www.computer-darkroom.com/ and this http://www.normankoren.com/makingfineprints1A.html
Its a nice image but I feel that it could be cropped a little closer at the top and perhaps a little less on the (RH) girl's shoulder.
Cheers

ok thnaks for that tip, I went into "ENHANCE" and hit "auto colour correction" and this is what came up, much better I think, anyone?

that is definitely better. if you can just take the corrected one and just put a tiny tint of warmness back in, i think it would be spot on. nice shot btw.
(funny -- this could be a new color calibration technique. take a picture, adjust so that it looks great on your monitor. post to message forum, asking for opinions on color balnce. take poster's advice, and apply color correction to image, then adjust monitor settings to that it looks good on your screen again!)

Well I just went down to Walmart and re-printed the photos that were too warm.
In PS Elements I used "ENHANCE" and hit "auto colour correction" and then to brightness and increased to 20 ish and they turned out AWESOME. I am very pleased.
A bit of work, but worht it. I think I will stick to photoflood lights because they look great!
Many thanks to David for your advice.
