Where are they now?

Well, seems a bit weird these days. We've had some very active members just drop off the face of the earth, cold turkey in the last year.

2. MDJAK
3. Lord Malone
4. Petkal
5. Schmoezel
6. Dante King

I'm sure there are more I'm missing, but these guys come top of mind. Just curious if anyone heard from there, or know if they just got out of photography in general?

I know I personally go through seasons on this forum. Sometimes I will be posting 50 times a day, and then I'll go a month without making a post. Lately I've been leaning toward the latter, today was the first day I did more than just log on and check my subscribed threads in a long time.

Just saw this thread while checking up on Malone.

I've been in and out. Not to burden anyone, but LOTS of family problems taking up huge amount of time and energy. My sister recently died after a battle with cancer, my middle daughter is a total and complete mess and doing her darndest to destroy our family unit.

But, what doesn't kill ya makes you stronger. I'm stayin in shape, going to the gym twice a day and three times on sunday, and I ain't kiddin.

Kind of feel a bit burned out though on my favorite hobby of photography. I even find myself going out without my camera(s) which I haven't done in years.

I'll slowly but surely get back into it though. Nice to know people notice. This is a very caring community.

Mark, everyone hits the bottom of the barrel at some point in life. Some hit it twice like I have.

At one point you begin to wonder that there is no place for you in society. But then, you end up floating to the top no matter how bad life got and then everything starts to slowly get better day after day.

Nothing will replace the loss of your sister, but no one can remove the great moments you had together. Sit back and let your thought run free, you will end up smiling. ;) Courage...soon the 5D MK II will be out for you to enjoy life with.
