Shot with a 20D, 100-400mm. Not quite as sharp as I would like. I was holding the camera, I now have a tripod.

Beautifull none the less...

I've had one of these critters in my sites a few times.. but never brought home a "keeper"

Nice shot. The bird itself is in focus, but all the reeds behind are distracting. Try a tighter crop and USM in PS.

i think the same the reeds behind are distracting
apart from it contrast colour of the wooden pillar catches the eye rather than bird
