I was at my buddies Jam session with his band The Hydramatics and snapped a couple images of them in action. Any C&C would be appreciated.

I like the mood, and the motion, but some are a bit too dark / contrasty IMO. (shadows block up too much)

I like the feel of # 4 as well as the composition. # 1 grabbed my eye first but even with the shallow DoF, I can't seem to find the actual focus point. It is as if the microphone is vibrating. If the mic was sharp I think that would have been the winner for me.

I know the new size limit is great for some..but it sucks for viewing images at work on a small monitor! I can't tell whats going on in these pics!!! ugh!

Yeah I know how that is sometimes. Usually in those cases you can hit the F11 key to open the web browser to full screen. It helps a lot.

For those using Firefox, try this: Image Zoom. (http://imagezoom.yellowgorilla.net/install/install.html?old=0.0.0&new=0.3) It's an Add On, and allows you to scale images up/down.

For instance, If I wanted to view this thread on my 12" PB, I could view it like this:
