Nice photo! However that is not an Anna's Hummingbird. It's most likely a Rufous. The gorget is too big for a female Anna's and the irridescent feathers would cover the entire head if it were a male Anna's.

Nice shot. Not being a birdwatcher, I've never seen one like it. I notice the spider web trailing from the branch. I know hummingbirds gather spider web and use it to tie their nests together and secure them to the branch they are using.
