I thought it was kind of interesting to see how this whole terrorism thing has affected our everyday lives. It's tough to find a balance between safety and too many restrictions. I'm not too happy about what their doing in New York...what do you guys think?

"Just" another over-the-top off-the-wall attempt to give the appearance of more security. As a Computer Associates billboard/ad (brick wall with 9, count 'em, 9 alarm bells on it) had it: "More Security Doesn't Make You More Secure".

I think they will be making a lot of cash off of people's cameras at the police auctions. I used to think California was a police state (ever cross the border in a car), but I feel sorry for NY as a shining example of repression at work.

Seriously, this is one just plain stupid law.
