I gues I could just try it, but is it possible to run 2 exhibits within one domain?
After playing with things I've decided it would serve our puropses to have 2 exhibit engines running on a site. One for a portfolio and one for viewing client galleries. I'd prefer not to have to host another domain to pull this off.

Yes, you just have to have two databases set up in MySQL. If you admin your databases yourself, just use PHpMyAdmin or similar tool to create a database and users for it. Else contact your ISP and ask for one more database.

Install one EE on each database.

If I may ask, what were your reasons for using 2 EE's?

We wish to showcase a portfolio via one engine and Client(wedding, portrait, etc..) images on the other.
I tested different configurations of one engine for this, but several of the "Guineapigs" said things were a bit confusing. Mainly when you first enter the engine.
With 2 engines the portfolio can be configured to have its own distict feel and opening page/index. For clients we want a different feel and information on the opening page/index.
