Very nice pics! If this was your first time with fireworks you are a serious thing!
The first time I tried to shoot fireworks people said "is that an insect?"
The first one is amazingly sharp, what settings did you use?
The Tammy 17-50 is really good, nice to see it behaves at night as well as in daytime.

Thanks! I had the camera af ISO 400, f32, with an exposure time of 3.2 seconds. I actually used the autofocus. I would hold down the shutter button halfway to focus on the fireworks, and pres it when I saw the next one being shot off into the sky. It took some timing on my part, and I had a bunch of bad frames, but got at least a dozen or so good shots.

f32 whaaaaat?
The Tamron 17-50 as most lenses is usually sharper around f5.6 / f8, above f11 diffraction strongly affects the IQ.
What is going on ??? :)
f32 and no diffratcion? ISO400 without noise? 3.2 seconds without blur? Man what the hell did you do ?
