As with most of the black metal bands these guys try to convey a very cold and evil feel through their appearance as well as their music. They also take both very seriously. I tried to reflect that in these photos. This was the final night of their tour and they are driving back to Minnesota to get back to their "real lives."

I flashed on the first three and used the nifty fifty for the rest. EXIF data is intact.

1 and 5 are my favorites in this set. The others leave me a bit cold (maybe that is the idea ;) ).

Nice shots, great to see another metalhead on here!
We had a Teratism in MA...I saw this and was confused. (Ours broke up years ago)

#4 is my favorite

I like #1 and #5 the best, but I'm partial to closeups so take with a grain of salt. I'm a metal fan though, so my opinion is at least coming from an honest point of view.

Thanks for the feedback! I scored a TON of rare vinyl this weekend which will be going up on Ebay next weekend to hopefully fund some low light "L" glass which will only help in the small clubs :)

Wow, the black and white ones are really great.

Reminds me of:

The color ones need... more. I think there is a lot of room to play around with them and create a cool look. #1 works well with the red backlight though.

Pretty cool photos but I can't take a band like that seriously. Are they trying to be scarey or laughable? I laughed my head off when I saw their get up.

They're trying to be scary and I assure you they're dead serious. I've gotten myself into trouble in the local music scene around here for teasing black metal kids. ;)

NJRFilms - Thanks for the Bergman comparison, I am truly honored! Perhaps the color ones could do with black and white conversion and increased contrast.

Lighting would have been better but they wouldn't start their performance until ALL of the white lights were turned off. Very nice dudes offstage though, I will say that.

White lights are not grim!!!
