IXUS V2 and the TFT screen?

Hi all, this is my first post to this forum.

I have an issue with my cameras TFT screen. I can see white, horizontal lines going accross it and they can be seen expecially in darker areas.

They wont make it to the final photo when i shoot but they keep annoying me (new camera, lots of money spend ;)

Is this normal or what?

If someone have a Canon digital camera, tell me do you see light white horizontal lines in your cameras TFT screen?

i think that someone have got a dig. camera in this forum... ;)

Nothing like that on my screen. I have the S 30.

damn... i quess ill contact Canon Finland then.

i hope they will be better in customer service things, than Sony, which was real battle to get my TV fixed....

Am using a V2.....no such thing.....get it looked into and do tell us how Canon's cust service is = ).

Is the horizontal lines visible mostly when you point the camera toward a light source? Something like bulb or tungsten lamp?
