View Full Version : Where's the upgrade to Canon S5 IS ?...

I was about to buy the Canon S5 IS about a month ago, and then thought that perhaps the newer upgrade might be coming out and decided to wait for that one.

I believe the S5 came out last May 2007. Does anyone have any info?

I'd like to know, too. I have an S3 and although I like it, I'm ready to upgrade. I don't like the way the G9 feels in my hands ergonomically (I like a bigger size) so I'm leaning towards a DSLR. I took a look at the Sxi at the camera store and it doesn't look as intimidating as some of the other ones.
